All the major engineering colleges of the country accept GATE score to enroll students in their post graduate engineering programmes.
Indian Institute of Technology conducted this IIT JAM 2012 entrance test to admit students into various M.Sc. and Ph.D research programmes in all IITs across the country. This year the IIT JAM entrance exam will be held on 12th February, 2012. IIT JAM 2012 online and offline registration process has already begun for the year. The last date for the IIT JAM registration is 1st November, 2011 for offline and for online it is 8th November, 2011
